APPSC AE:-
APPSC control examination for Andhra Pradesh Administrative Services (APPAS) under the State Government.
Generally, this exam is conducted every year. A candidate should have a
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering subject
recognized. The age limit is 21 to 35 years for the Unreserved category. The selection process of this examination consists of 3 stages; Preliminary, Main,
and Interview.
Scheme of Preliminary Examination: -
The Preliminary Examination will
include of one paper on the subjects of civil, mechanical and electrical, which
will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks. The examination is
meant to serve as a screening test only. The Standard of the paper will be that
of a Bachelor's Degree Level. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination
by the candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to Main Examination
will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.
Candidates have to appear in two
papers at this stage.
The first paper (GK and
concerning Andhra Pradesh's history, geography, and culture) will likely be
compulsory for all. Both question papers may have objective type questions.
The second paper will likely be
optional and candidates can select it according to their stream (Civil,
Mechanical, or electrical). Both papers will become 200 marks each. Marks
obtained in the pre-exam will never be added to the final merit record. This
stage marks will come to a decision qualification for the main examination.
Scheme of Main Examination:
This exam will contain 4 papers.
Out of these types of, 2 will be optional along with 2 compulsories.
Paper 1(compulsory) will be of
Hindi -100 marks,
paper 2 (Compulsory) Social
aspects along with applications of engineering of 100 Grades. Paper 3rd and 4th
will be optional and the candidate can select as outlined by his/her trade
(civil, Mechanical & Electrical). each paper will be for 200 Marks.
